Our approach

Choose with curiosity.
Keep the decision yours.

A ring can be meaningful without following a rule about your hand, your gender or what you should spend.

What the quiz considers

Twelve questions cover your style, stone arrangement, outline, profile, everyday routine, metal color, care preferences, stone choice, budget, companion ring, shopping context and timing. A deterministic score selects two starting setting/style options. The buying brief adds practical comparisons tailored to the answers.

We do not collect hand photos, finger measurements, weight or a body-shape category. The local sketch preview illustrates ideas; it does not measure a hand or predict fit.

A useful free result

The two-option result and its questions are free. The optional $19 buying brief adds setting and metal tradeoffs, dated retailer examples, a complete-cost worksheet, partner or jeweler discussion prompts and printable notes. No professional has individually reviewed the result.

Sources and commercial context

Our original guides link to GIA for gem and setting information, and to official retailers for their own products and policies. Sources support specific facts; they are not endorsements of this site. Retailer examples include a date and an explanation of price inclusions.

We do not claim retailer partnerships, affiliate commissions, independent laboratory testing, appraisal expertise or a promise of future value. When a source cannot establish the completed price, we say so.
